SIMPLE PROJECTSLooking for a good science project, but none interest you? I did my science experiment on if color effects the heartbeat or pulse of a human.Eric J. Snow, Wa USA - Friday, December 13, 1996 at 17:30:53 (PST) Surveying people on Magic Eye is a fun project to do! You can compare it to whether they're left or right handed, or if they smoke or have a disease or something. it's neat! Anonymus <N/A> USA - Friday, December 20, 1996 at 17:21:27 (PST) |

MEDIUM DIFFICULTY PROJECTSLast year I did my Science Fair project on the affect smell has on taste. I used 3 different age groups and 2 different colored suckers. After blindfloding a subject I wet a sucker and put it under their nose, while I put another sucker on their tongu e. I removed the suckers and asked the subject which flavor they tasted. I learned a lot about the affect smell has on taste and did very well on my project. I hope that this idea will come in handy to anyone;like myself;that has a very hard time findi ng a project idea.Sabrina N.S. All you have to do is have a couple different types of music (Clasical, rap, alternative, rock, country etc.) and a few different simple (But not too easy) puzzles. Get the testee to listen to a type of music while doing the puzzle. Get them to try a couple different types of music and see what your results are!!! GOOD LUCK!!! APRIL CURRY April <an233@chebucto.ns.ca> Mt. Uniacle, N.S. CANADA - Monday, January 06, 1997 at 05:26:59 (PST) Last year for our science fair, a friend and I did a project on different types of presenting information and which one was the best. We used the oral method, the read aloud method and the read to yourself method. We used three different classes that were randomly chosen. We used the bell curve system to judge. (There are various books you can get concerning that). If you'd like specifics on how to start this project, e-mail me. Rochelle Pereira <mercyn@discovland.net> Kirkland, Que Canada - Thursday, January 02, 1997 at 14:59:13 (PST) I did my science project on subliminal messages last year for grade seven. I got a third place in the science fair. I taped my self saying I like the red smaties best over, over, and over. You then tape over that with a song and you tell the person to listen to the music and then eat a couple different smarties while listening to the music adn tell you which color they liked best. Pretty COOL!!! E-mail for extra help and more details!! APRIL April Curry <an233@chebucto.ns.ca> Mt. Uniacke, N.S. CANADA - Wednesday, January 01, 1997 at 12:21:22 (PST) Another project is how different kinds of music affect a persons thinking. This project requires different kinds of music and different kinds of tests or puzzels. Play one kind of music to a person, let them listen for 2 min. Then place kind of test or puzzel before them, while they continue listening to the music. Continue this with all different kinds music. But you must not do the testings on one person one after another. Have many different kinds of people to do the tests. This is quite an interesting experiment. Melissa Leung La Ronge, SaSK Canada - Friday, December 13, 1996 at 19:28:41 (PST) I am going to do mine on emidiate memory. I will tell some people a list of words like cow, fence, orange, etc... Then I will ask them some math questions like what is 245 - 37 ? Then I will ask then to name some of the words I said to them earlier. I will see which did better, Girls, Boys, Men, or Women. If you have any suggestions write to me at 109 Oak Ridge, Starkville, MS, 39759. I would really appreciate the help!
