The loop begins at one of the ponds along the north end of Route 66.
A turnoff takes you through a meadow of wild grasses.
Then the serpentine singletrack enters the forest,
with a series of rollers.
Parts of the loop are actually pretty tame, leaving you unprepared for what's ahead.
Three flips on one ride is too many.
The path along a pond slopes precariously toward the water.
Fortunately, trikes are low enough so you can use your hands as outriggers.
A final narrow singletrack takes you across a grassy sidehill and back to Route 66.
