The Black Diamond Natural Area is a 645-acre set of tracts located less than a mile north of Black Diamond on both sides of highway 169. It is adjacent to Henry's Ridge Natural Area, Ravensdale Park, and Lake Sawyer Regional Park, which are also included here. (The Black Diamond Natural Area also includes Icy Creek, covered in the Green River Gorge Section.)
Many of the trails are suitable for properly equipped trikes, but others are too steep or narrow. It is easy to get lost here, so a detailed map is a good idea. Google Maps includes the whimsical trail names. Zoom in and click click on Bicycling.
