Divide Ridge is up in a high country area of steep dropoffs.  Here the dirt road ends at a massive slide.
Other slides cover the road, but you can still ride around them.
Besides the Forest Service roads, there are numerous trails in these mountains.
In some places, the edge of the road is really the edge.
