Elliott Bay Trail--Waterfront South
Elliott Bay Trail
The south portion of the Elliott Bay Trail begins by a channel of the working harbor.
The view suddenly opens up as you ride south.
This section of the trail has separate riding and walking paths.
As you approach the city center,, you come to the Seattle Art Museum Sculpture Garden.
It has several unique works of art
and architecture.
You can ride up to SAM's cantilevered observation tower,
and look over the downtown piers and the Great Wheel.
Returning to ground level, you can continue on the urban section of the Elliott Bay Trail to the ferris wheel itself (and beyond).
