Foothills Trail--Enumclaw
Foothills Trail
Enumclaw Foothills Trail follows the old Northern Pacific rail line along highway 410.  The paved section begins at a complex with grocery stores, coffee shops, sporting goods, and various other businesses, and extends about half way to the White River.  An unpaved portion continues most of the rest of the way to the river, and awaits a bridge on the old trestle foundation to connect with the Foothills Trail in Buckley.  Another unpaved segment runs north of town on the same railroad grade heading toward Ravensdale and might eventually link with the Cedar River/Lake Wilderness Trail.

Pinnacle Peak in the background is a great off-pavement ride.

It got me thinking--a chainsaw has a sproket.  Could you connect it to a bike chain?
