On Mud Mountain, the forest grows right to the edge of the cliffs, and the trail skirts the rim for much of its length,
before connecting with a steep access road to the river.
The Mud Mountain Trail lives up to its name as it follows the river for several miles,
Some spots in the lowland forest get a little narrow for the trike,
and continue so for the climb back up to the rim.
The following videos show different sections of the trail. First is along the rim trail from the access road back to the parking lot. The second continues from straight across the access road down into the wetlands and back. Third is down the access road and along the river.
