The Puyallup Riverwalk begins near the end of the Foothills Trail, connects with the Sumner Link Trails, and follows continues along the water to the River Road levy.
The east and west sections of the trail are not yet connected, but riding from one to the other requires only a few blocks of residential streets. Parking is available under the freeway between the two parts.
This bridge, with both sidewalks and bike lanes, connects to the Sumner Link trails.

The highway bridge over the Puyallup will be replaced, and hopefully moved to connect the Enumclaw and Buckley Foothills Trails across the White River.
And just behond it at the east end of the trail, an opening connects you through a gate (that is sometimes open) to 134th Ave E, which leads directly to the Puyallup Foothills Trailhead. An alternative is to go up to the bridge, and ride down East Main to the new Shaw Road extension of the Foothills Trail.
The west end of the trail has a gate at the Puyallup River levy. Hopefully, a trail will someday continue on it all the way to Tacoma and Puget Sound.
