Route 66 is the main connecting link within the Black Diamond Natural Area between Henry's Ridge trails to the north and Summit Ridge trails to the south.  It has a branch to the main parking lot on Highway 169 (3rd Avenue.)
It is generally wider than the other trails in the area and provides easy access to many interesting loops along the way.
Route 66 crosses a large set of transmission lines and a rail line that bisect the north and south sections of the trail system.
Most of Route 66 is fairly level, but not all of it.
Slope--17 degrees
Grade--30.6%

The two videos each show rides from one end of Route 66 to power lines in the middle and a singletrack diversion along the way.
