Undeveloped Foothills Trail
The Foothills Trail in Buckley ends at the White River, with forks leading to the piers from the old highway and railroad bridges from a century ago.
Hopefully, a bridge will someday provide a link from here to the Enumclaw Foothills Trail on the other side.
Meanwhile, a rough trail follows the river upstream.
It does get wet in winter, and the puddles are deceptively deep.
