Mavs players results in the All-Star game and other All-Star contests ==== All-Star Players Luka Doncic in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 was selected as an All-Star starter by a combination voting of fans, players, and media. Kyrie Irving in 2023 were selected as an All-Star starter by a combination voting of fans, players, and media. Irving was a member of Brooklyn when he was selected, but was traded to Dallas prior to the All-Star game. Jason Kidd in 1996 was selected as an All-Star starter by fan voting. Dirk Nowitzki in 2019 was selected along with Dwyane Wade as a special addition to the All-Star Game by Commissioner Adam Silver. His other selections were voted in by the Western Conference coaches. In 2010 and 2007, Nowitzki was named by the West All-Star coach as an injury replacement starter. All others were selected as reserves - as voted in by the Western Conference coaches [with the exceptions of 3 injury replacements (Chris Gatling 1997, Rolando Blackman 1990, James Donaldson 1988) who were selected by the NBA commissioner]. The All-Star Coaches (Avery Johnson 2006, Don Nelson 2002) were selected by Dallas having the 2nd best record in the West on a certain date prior to the All-Star game (with the coach of the team with the best record in the West having been ineligible by having coached the All-Star game the prior year (Gregg Popovich (SA) 2006, Rick Adelman (Sac) 2002)). ==== All-Gar Game players and stats -- 2024
