Mint.eskimo.com, my problem child server, is having issues. I’m trying to install a new version of X2go but it’s telling me I can’t because I have held broken packages, however, I have neither held nor broken packages. Something in the apt database has gotten corrupted.
I’m going to boot the server from a backup image as soon as it finishes uncompressing and then re-apply updates. So in the next half hour or so Mint will reboot and then it will come up on a somewhat older version of itself. This will have no effect on your files, e-mail, databases, etc, as they are all kept on separate servers that are on RAID10 disk arrays and backed up with dump so I can retrieve individual files if need be.
