Kept the heads from the old moter because their still in good shape. I tore off all the emissions stuff and started working on cleaning them up. I cleaned off one head so far, Sorry no pictures of them yet. We poped out the first set of valves, we're doing two at a time, so as to not mix them up. the valves look to be in really good shape. So thats today's progress, later I'll get pictures of the heads, probably on another post though. When I get them finished, we'll see. Click on a thumbnail to see a larger image. The new engine, and all the parts for it beside it, aside from the extra pistons, thoes are just from the old moter. I'm still waiting on head gaskets and such. Return to 1984 Subaru GL Brat.
