Where do we look for inspiration as we age in a culture bound to youth and materialism? What are the limitations of aging and the possibilities opened up? We will look at various themes, including finitude, time, death, remembering, despair, hope and the creative challenges of aging and will explore various archetypal patterns in our attitudes toward changing.

In the workshop, participants will be encouraged to share their ideas, experiences, and dreams as they go through the aging process. We will also do some exercises that relate to the aging process.
Objectives:
To understand the various phases and challenges of the aging process and to learn to apply this material to one's own life.
Linda Schierse Leonard, Ph.D., is a Jungian analyst trained in Zurich and currently in practice in Boulder, Co. She is the author of the following books: The Wounded Woman, On the Way to the Wedding, Witness to the Fire, Meeting the Madwoman, Following the Reindeer Woman, and The Call to Create. Her books have been published in 15 languages and she lectures worldwide. She is also a founding member and training analyst for the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts.
This program has been approved for 6.0 CEU’s by the Washington Chapter National Association of Social Workers (NASW) for Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists and Licensed Mental Health Counselors. Provider number is #1975-157. The cost to receive a certificate is as follows: 6.0 units for lecture and workshop $15; 2.0 units for the Friday lecture $10; 4.0 units for the Saturday workshop $10.
