Riverfront Trail at The Dalles
The trail ends (or begins) at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center.
I rode only the Discovery Center end of the trail on this trip.  We'll definitely be going back.
This is one point of access for the trail.
The nearly completed Riverfront Trail is a 10-mile paved link between the Dalles Dam Visitor Center and the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center.
At the eastern edge of the Columbia Gorge, the landscape here is dry and open.
It tunnels under the railroad before making the final climb up from the river.
This ride is best in the morning or cooler seasons.
