Employment:
I currently work as the Facility Transition Project Manager for Battelle Memorial Institute at the Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Job functions include assisting with consolidation of people and functions into a reduced set of facilities, then transitioning the excess facilities to a minimum cost state. Many of these facilities were built as part of the original Hanford Project, and contain contamination and legacies from operations years ago.
Previous employment includes experience at commercial and government nuclear reactors, including positions as Shift Supervisor, Outage Manager (for 2 refueling outages), and Work Control Center Manager.
Goal for the MPM course:
To obtain skills and knowledge that can be directly applied in the field to become a better Project Manager.
