Hi, Mark! My name is Blane and I also have SMA. I am forty
years old and have had my trach since 1982. I also use an LP-6. I am a
student at Vista College in Berkeley, CA. I am also an aspiring writer.
I would like to reinforce your statement of saying invasive
ventilation is not the end of the world. I agree with you 100%. My
life is also "normal". With my vent mounted on my electric wheelchair,
I can go around the streets like anyone else. My vent is my friend. It
allows me to be a free man. Keep in touch!
