I'm feeling very much alone! Is there anyone out there who (like me) is
unable to breathe AT ALL and uses a non-invasive negative pressure
respirator 24 hours of the day? In my case, a cuirass shell. When this has
to be removed for any reason, I use positive pressure via a mouth-piece. I
caught bulbar polio 41 years ago and have no residual movement below my
chin. For the first 7 years I was in a cabinet respirator (iron lung), and
have been using the cuirass ever since.
