TJ,
I had a feeling you wouldn't know what I was talking about. Let's
say I want to suction without waking anyone up or in a theatre or
restaurant and not attract any attention. With the LP6, I'd have to
start suctioning, then stop suctioning to silence the alarm and then
continue suctioning. My vent allows you to push the silence button then
suction and the alarm will never go off. Granted the suction machine is
louder than the alarm. My vent will also stop alarming when you finish
suctioning without having to press the silence button. As soon as the
vent registers a pressure above the low pressure alarm setting, it stops
alarming. I didn't mean to be offensive. It's just a personal
preference.
