Since introducing its Uni-Vent(TM) 700 Series Automatic
Resuscitator/Ventilators in 1986, Impact has been the leading force
behind innovative portable ventilator development. Two years later, the
Model 750 Portable Ventilator was released. It became the first
full-featured, critical care ventilator that was capable of delivering
in-hospital performance anywhere. For the first time, impossible patient
transports and on-scene critical ventilatory care became possible. The
newest member of Impact's Uni-Vent(TM) Portable Ventilator family, is
the Eagle(TM) Model 754. The Eagle(TM) is simply incredible! It includes
a built-in compressor, blender, monitoring, and graphics package,
weighing less than 13-lbs. Other features include automatic altitude
compensation, internal PEEP, an in-board emergency backup ventilator,
automatic LCD backlighting, and an interactive training/demo mode.
Impact products are used in hospitals, homecare, ambulances, fire/rescue
services, aboard ship, in aircraft (both fixed wing and rotary), and
throughout the military services. Its aspirators and ventilators have
withstood the rigors of combat in the Persian Gulf, Croatia, and Bosnia,
and humanitarian missions worldwide including: Panama, Haiti, Ecuador,
Somalia and Rwanda. Our "no compromise" approach to clinical performance
and versatility provides you with products that are designed to offer
the highest reliability and the lowest possible cost of ownership.
