In the daytime, yes its eliminated. I get so dry at night, when I got
suctioned, there would be
more tinges of blood. Its like a Catch 22 you need to balance. More
secretions but less
chance of blood and mucous plugs. Removing humidifier does lower
secretions, but when
you get them, you get build up. Of course some people stay more clear
than others. I
have a few allergies. That can contribute to suctioning at times.
