Hi Annette:

I traveled this past weekend and of course brought my PLV100 along. It has
been so reliable that I hadn't given it a thought as to it breaking down.
If I were to have a problem, I would call the healthcare company that I rent
it from and so far they have been very helpful. I did forget a piece of the
equipment over Thanksgiving weekend and I was able to drive to a location to
pick it up. I was very scared over that. I'm so used to it and I feel
dependent on it for night time use, that I would be very afraid not to use
it at night. I don't usually travel alone but I did this past weekend to
meet the rest of my family for my nephew's college graduation and the PLV100
is bulky and heavy, but I'm thankful that it seems to help me so much.
What about foreign travel? Is it possible to rent these in foreign
countries or do you carry them with you as baggage and then hope that they
work with your adaptor. I would be reluctant to do that. Alos, my breating
on a plane is not good - very scary!
