<< There is now LP-10 and LP-12's out. They are quieter than LP-6. The alarm
is loud,
but the speaker can be muffled being it is visible. Yeah I saw the
PLV-100. I dont
like them because the buttons and knobs are visible and can easily be
bumped or
changed by kids. You gotta be much more attentive. Its up to the person
who has
to use the vent, as to which is better. Vents I've used.

Hi all,
Just a note, I have the PLV-100 and my mec tech attached a clear cover to the
front of mine that opens up so that you can turn the vent on, but all the
knobs are covered.
I really appreciated that as my kitties have been known to bump my knobs and
do their own "adjusting".
