Flying problem

Hello everyone, I=B4m new to this list. I plan to go to Japan next =
Wednesday, taking a British Airways flight from London. I need to use =
my ventilator, a PLV-100, all the time so I=B4m bringing it as hand =
luggage. The problem is that it seems like BA won=B4t let me use the =
ventilator during takeoff and landing, despite the local PLV =
agent=B4s assurance that it cannot possibly in any way affect =
technical equipment in the plane. What do I do if BA keeps on =
insisting on this? I will fly with SAS from London to Sweden on my =
way back, and they have given clearence for me to use the ventilator =
all the time. I appreciate your advice.
