Chris,

About vent settings most vents have manuals about operating them...
But thats settings wise, thats doctor sets those. Their different modes
SIMV,asst.control,etc. Volume or Tidal Volume: is the amount "volume" of
air. Breath Ratev: is the # of breathes. Inspitory: means just how it
sounds IN is how many sec. of each breath or otherwise how long each
breath..And High & low Alarms : mean if the pressurres drop below or
above the settings.

That basics of course, each vent varies! Feel free to email .....
