I lost the thread to this message, but I believe that it was about on
"oscillator" vent, or HFOV. I think it said something about a parent trying
to send a child to school on a portable HFOV. As she may have mentioned, I
don't think there are any approved at this time.

I'm also confused by this situation, because I was under the impression that
HFOV (High Frequency Oscillating Ventilators) were only used by infants, or
very severe lung damage.

For those wondering if you use a vent like this. ;) Check to see if you can
set your inspiratory time in milliseconds. ;)
