Yes, a Passey-Muir, or any one-way valve for that matter, will help
eliminate those pauses when speaking. I'm on a rate of 11 bpm, flow of 50
and volume of 900ml. With the value I can speak continue sly by just not
exhaling all the air or by waiting to exhale closer to the next breath. It
takes practice.

When I get some free time I'll take some pictures of the other one-way
valve I have and put it on the vent web page.
