I too have had the dread chest percussion done on me while being
hospitalized. It just doesn't work for me due to a number of reasons. One
is I don't like to be turned upside down..especially with a trach and due
to the scoliosis I have...the pounding on just the right spot can send me
up the ceiling.
I prefer to move around, etc. to get the excessive secretions up.
