Hello, Chris and everybody in the list:

Respiratory centres that control ventilation (the rythm and depth of
breathing) are located in the main stem of the brain. They receive
continously information about the level of CO2 and of O2 in the blood so
they can regulate breathing. I´m sure Joanne could bring a lot of
information, she seems to be very prepared and her english is better than
mine :-))
