I'm afraid they do. The knobs control vent programming. Yes they are
programmed like a computer. My LP-10 and LP-6 both have a parallel
printing cable that will fit a standard printer. Cell phones could have
effect on those giant hospital vents, but I doubt they do much to a
portable. Now a Bear 33 is totally computer vent is computer all the
way. When I used it the thing would alarm if it sensed my hostility:-)
If you travel a lot the cell phone and a vent hand in hand are a must.
Now my roommate has a wheelchair recliner different than my LaBac.
It is reactant to radio and TV broadcasts, but so far nothing has
happened to it. How did your LaBac break?
