Hi Annette!

I use a Concord Portex Blue Line Cuffed trach tube, size 6. This is what I
came home from the hospital with 9 years ago when I was trached, and it works
very well for me. At one time my doctor was trying to eliminate the scar
tissue from forming around my stoma (It bothered him, not me!) and had me try
out some different styles after some surgery. None of them worked out for me,
and I went back to my Concord Portex. I really like it a lot, and I've never
had a problem with it at all. I have my husband change it about 2 or 3 months
for me. This will be done this weekend because it's getting kind of clogged
up in there. (I try to prolong my use of each trach tube for as long as
possible because I loathe having it changed!) I hope that you can find
something that works better for you, Annette.
