Traveling

Hi Carol,
Yes, I know what a pain traveling can be. I travel quite a bit with the
vent on planes. We don't let the vent or supplies out of our sight. The
vent is stored under my feet. The air travel access transportation law
allows us to have our adaptive equipment with us. I'd NEVER put the vent
or suplies through baggage. Many of the polio survivors contact their
respiratory companies such as respironics, and arrange for them to have
the equipment they need sent ahead. Even iron-lungs. Long car rides wear
me out, especially since I am the only driver.
For the most part, I'm feeling much better. My blood pressure is back to
normal and outside of an occasional migraine and polio fatigue, I am
counting my blessings. El Nino has been good to us. No snow or ice this
winter and incredibly mild temperatures. Take Care!
Val
