Hey Jim,
Thanks so much for sending that neat article about breathing pacemakers!
Maybe some day soon we can all say adios to our vents. I always get
irritated, annoyed, and bent out of shape, when people think we should
stop funding our space program. They simply fail to comprehend that it's
because of the space program we have the majority of our medical
advances. Prior to coming to this most polluted state, my husband wore a
high-powered contact lens as a direct result from space age technology.
For someone as blind as he is (he's a braille reader and has one eye) he
could see well. Actually, the lens was developed from those missiles the
US used in the Gulf War. Anyway, it's refreshing to know that progress is
being made on the breathing front. Thanks Jim!
