The battle continues!
To update you, ADAPT has delivered to all House Transportation Committee

members and all Senate members of the Conference Committee a 5 min. =
video of folks getting carried on, etc. and showing how lousey that =
is, a letter from ADAPT urging they support no ammendments or exeptions =
for Greyhound AND the Doggone Shame report that shows the results of our
=
test rides.

Due to the disabiity community's work NO amendments got put on the House
bill in regard to Over-The-Road Buses (Greyhound). The bill now goes to
a conference committee where they STILL can put on language that would
GUT the DoT regulations about accessibility to Greyhound. This
conference committee will happen when Congress returns in late April.=20
We have the names of SOME of the conference committee members in the
Senate. If there is someone from your state contact them immediately =
and
tell them NO amendments about access to Over-The-Road Buses. (Names of
House Members will follow)
