I haven't been able to get to my e-mail in a few days, but I was really
excited to read this post by Val. That is a great thing ... the free back-up
vent!
A few days after I was trached and while I was still in the hospital, I had a
dream about myself, and in it I had my trach. When I woke up, I felt really
good because I saw the dream as a sign that I'd already accepted my trach.
