Ola,
I also change my trach about once a month unless a problem arises
earlier, such as leaks or cracks on the trach. Although I do the change
myself, I schedule it with a visiting nurse who stands by , just in case
of any problem. By scheduling it, it keeps me honest and avoids my just
putting it off to another day. I hate the whole procedure adn usually
get nervous, whine and complain to anyone who will listen.
