The Belching BiPap Blues in B Minor

I am a relatively new BiPap user and I am having a problem which seems to
me mustn't be that unusual but am told by me Home Health Care Service is
just something with which I have to live. During the night, while sleeping,
I evidently, swallow saliva during the Inspiration or Expiration (whichever
is contrary to normal swallowing----I would suspect that would be a
cessation of either for a brief moment) and swallow air. I am waking up
with an uncomfortable amount of air in my stomach which causes pressure on
my diaphragm, leaving me feeling like I can't breathe well. To make matters
worse, I think I now have allergies which are causing a constant running in
the back of my throat (a charming image) and so I am swallowing more
frequently and waking about every couple of hours because and air bubble
gets caught in my throat, I open my mouth to clear it, the seal gets
broken, etc., etc., etc.

Is this unusual? What might I do to remedy the problem? I'm incredbly
sensitive to antihistamines.

Also, what are typical BiPap settings? I=? E=? and O=?. Is it necessary to
have a value set for E? Could that be what's causing this air problem? I am
really doubting these jokers from the equipment company I have to use know
a whole bunch about what they're saying and a heck of a lot less about PPS.

Thanks for any assistance you might offer.
