Diane, I was looking back at the reply which you received on June 27 from
Kevin pertaining to your problem & he certainly had some very helpful
information to offer. Your problem & my problem are quite different, of
course, because trying to attach a vent vs. oxygen tanks is apples vs.
oranges. The thing that struck me, however, when I looked at what Kevin had
offered, is that the CHAIRS have changed. What's available now isn't the same
product that was available in 1991! Mark's battery case slides out from the
back, & I would assume that this would make an under-the-chair solution more
difficult for you guys. Also, I would assume that if you sit on the vent box
it must raise you up quite a bit, but perhaps that would be an advantage for a
kid. In any event, I wish that I could offer you something concrete rather
than just all this empathy & misery-loves-company! :-) BUT the real monster in
my closet is what kind of configuration will be possible when my husband needs
BOTH oxygen tanks and a vent on his chair! (Right now he only uses PLV 100 at
bedside.) Oh, well, one day at a time... With regards, Nancy
