I thought you might like to feel lighter this weekend and read these two
poems which I received via the Inet. No authors were mentioned but I guess
it's something for the heart and soul.
A. How do I mend a Broken Heart?!.
LET GO AND LET GOD
As children bring their broken toys
with tears for us to mend
I brought my broken dreams to God
because He was my friend.
But then, instead of leaving Him
in peace, to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help
with ways that were my own.
At last, I snatched them back and cried
"How can you be so slow?"
"My child," He said, "What could I do?
You never did let go."
(God will mend a broken broken heart if you give HIM all the pieces.)
B. Destiny ...
Somewhere there waiteth in this
world of ours
For one lone soul another lonely soul,
Each choosing each through all the
weary hours
And meeting strangely at one sudden
goal.
Then blend they, like green leaves
with golden flowers,
Into one beautiful and perfect whole;
And life's long night is ended, and the
way
Lies open onward to eternal day.

Have a pleasant weekend!
Sincerely,
