While crossing the border from Mexico to the U.S., a wealthy businessman and his girlfriend are killed when a bomb goes off in their car. Mexican narcotics agent Mike Vargas teams up with corrupt American cop Hank Quinlan to solve the murder, leaving Mike's new wife Susie alone at the hands of a crime family.
