=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Society of the Rusting TARDIS Newsletter (#15)
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Another short newsletter - things will be back to normal after Anglicon.
(You've all bought your memberships, right?)

Sound bites:

Danny John-Jules has recorded a voice-over using his "Red
Dwarf" Cat
character for a new TV commercial for Spearmint Polo's (with
        decorative stars on them).

Fox Video will soon be releasing episodes of "The
X-Files" in the UK.

Local news:

This Thursday, "Festival Hong Kong" (at the Varsity) will
be showing
Ringo Lam's "Burning Paradise", and Samo Hung's
"Moon Warriors".
Jeff-Bob says check 'em out. Call 632-3131 for showtimes.

According to Eric Gjovaag, the AHA! Theatre will be running
"Star
Drek: The Musical" for as long as people want to see it. They
take
reservations up to three weeks in advance for Friday, Saturday, and
Sunday shows. $8 for one or $14 for both. Gjo Vaag Briggs says
        check it out.

Local-boy-returned-home-to-roost Ryan K. Johnson has a web page at
"http://www.eskimo.com/~rkj/", where you can find info
about his Dr.
Who films, other films, etc. (And I'll be running one of those
films
        this week, BTW.)

Miscellany:

        Yet another AbFab web page:
                http://www.ozemail.com.au/~reed/bookshop/abfab.html

Former "Kid in the Hall" Bruce McCulloch has an album out
-
"Shame-Based Man" includes songs he did on the show as
well as new
        material.
