Welcome to the SotRT newsletter - with 135 readers in 5
countries!
It's the return of "Father Ted"! The new (and sadly
final) season begins its
run this week.
It's a barebones newsletter again. But you don't care about that,
right?
You're already packing for Anglicon! A quick look through the
list of
subscribers shows at least 20 people I recognize by name who will
be there.
Not bad considering this mailing list's global distribution.
In case you don't know, I do the video programming for Anglicon.
Included
on this year's schedule are:
RED DWARF: Extended versions of Season 7 episodes, and several
brand new specials
NEVERWHERE: Neil Gaiman's fantasy series (plus an interview)
DOCTOR WHO: The 30th anniversary special, featuring the cast of
"EastEnders"
PRIME CRACKER: A "Prime Suspect" / "Cracker"
crossover
FATHER TED: The first six episodes of the brand new season
MONTY PYTHON'S FLYING CIRCUS: The episodes made for German TV
EASTENDERS: The Den and Angie Years
(Plus classic stuff and some of the best stuff that's shown at
the
Rusting TARDIS video meetings.)
So why don't you stop by? Come for a day, or stay for the
weekend. Check
out the details below. (And don't forget to say hello.)

Subject: ANGLICON 11 Guest News Flash!
From: Anglicon <anglicon@rocketmail.com>
Dear Anglicon 11 members,
We recently received news that, due to a schedule conflict with a
TV show
that he is currently working on, Robert Llewellyn will NOT be
able to come to
Seattle and Anglicon 11 as originally planned.
However, the good news is that his co-star, Danny John-Jules
(Cat), has
offered to come in his place. Although we are disappointed that
Mr. Llewellyn will not be with us this year, we are pleased that
Mr. John-Jules will be able to join us at Anglicon 11.
If any other changes in guest status occur, we will be posting
the news to
our webpage, http://www.webwitch.com/anglicon, or notifying you
by e-mail as
soon as possible. Should you have any questions, please contact
our Hotline
at 206-789-BRIT or e-mail us here at anglicon@rocketmail.com.
