Welcome to the SotRT newsletter - with 142 readers in 5 countries!

I probably won't be at the video meeting this week - it's film festival
season! But the show will go on.

On tap this time:

Subject: Quick news items

Sound bites:

Reeves and Mortimer ("Shooting Stars") will be redoing "Randall and
Hopkirk Deceased". It will be done straight, and with new scripts.

Local news:

Thanks to everyone who attended Anglicon. Much fun was had, and money
was raised to support KBTC.

The Seattle Internation Film Festival has started. There is much good
stuff:
- "Wilde", starring Stephen Fry as Oscar Wilde
- Lars von Trier's "Kingdom II" (one showing only!)
- Julia Sweeney's "God Said, 'Ha!'" (Julia was at the first screening)
Check out their web site at http://www.seattlefilm.com

June 13th is KBTC's semi-annual EastEnders/Doctor Who/BritCom fundraising
marathon. I haven't received the details yet, but as always we're
looking for volunteers to man and woman the phones. Let me know if
you're interested.

Spies tell me there are two "Doctor Who" pinball machines in the Seattle
area: at the Seattle Center Fun Forest (the new building across from the
Center House) and at the Wingdome (at 79th and Greenwood).
