From the flyer....
Things change. No surprise there.
But nonprofits have to change along with the rest of the world. Change for a nonprofit means change in many parts of the complicated web of donors, colleagues, employees, stakeholders, critics, regulators and observers. Great organizations make change all the time while staying true to mission and delivering excellence, effectiveness and efficiency.
The Tenth Annual Nonprofit Leadership Conference focuses on the agility that makes this possible. The program brings together experts, leaders and careful observers. The sessions will explore the ways nonprofits have found to build strong programs and wide circles of support while at the same time reacting creatively to challenges big and small that are beyond their control. As at the nine conferences that have preceded it, the audience will be varied, the information useful, and the discussions lively.
Luncheon discussions and a range of concurrent sessions will engage participants in exploration of serious challenges faced by nonprofits today. These sessions will be organized by leaders from our region’s nonprofit community.
This year’s conference will close with a reception for participants and others from Washington’s nonprofit community to celebrate the start of Volunteer Month and the future success of nonprofit endeavors.
