2003-04 Mavs Injuries

4/20 Antawn Jamison did not play in the 2nd half of game 2 of the
     Sacramento game due to strained hamstrings.
4/11 Josh Howard did not play in the 2nd half of the Golden State
     game due to a tight hamstring.
4/11 Michael Finley did not play in the Golden State or Seattle 
     games due to bruised ribs.
4/6 Josh Howard did not play in the 2nd half of the Seattle game
    due to a tight hamstring.
4/2 Josh Howard did not play in the 2nd half of the Sacramento game
    due to a tight hamstring.
4/2 Scott Williams did not play in the Sacramento game due to a
    sore right knee.
3/28 Michael Finley did not play in the Orlando, Miami, or Indiana 
     games due to a sore right calf.
3/17 Michael Finley suffered a sore right calf during the 3rd
     quarter of the Atlanta game.  He left the game briefly with the
     injury, but did return a few minutes later.
3/14 Josh Howard did not play in the LA Clippers or Phoenix games
     due to a sore mouth.
3/11 Josh Howard suffered a cut to his lip in the 2nd quarter of
     the Sacramento game.  He received 9 stitches and did not return.
3/3 Antawn Jamison suffered a sprained right ankle during the 3rd
    quarter of the Minnesota game.
3/3 Steve Nash did not play in the Minnesota game due to a stomach
    virus.
3/2 Steve Nash (stomach virus) and Josh Howard (strained right
    groin) did not play in the Seattle game.
2/28 Josh Howard did not play in the Portland game due to a
     strained right groin.
2/24 Tony Delk did not play in the LA Clippers or Houston games
     due to a left ankle injury.
2/20 Dallas activated Tony Delk and placed Travis Best on IR with
     inflammation in his right Achilles.
2/18 Travis Best did not play in the 2nd half of the Cleveland game
     due to an Achilles injury.
2/10 Eduardo Najera did not play in the New York, Atlanta, Detroit, 
     New Orleans, Golden State, Denver, or Utah games due to a sore 
     left knee.
1/27 Tony Delk (sprained left ankle) did not play in the Seattle 
     game.
1/25 Tony Delk (sprained left ankle) and Danny Fortson (tooth
     extraction) did not play in the Sacramento game.
1/23 Tony Delk (sprained left ankle), Danny Fortson (tooth
     infection), and Marquis Daniels (flu) did not play in the LA 
     Lakers or Chicago games.
1/23 Danny Fortson had his infected wisdom tooth extracted.
1/20 Tony Delk (sprained left ankle) and Marquis Daniels (flu) did
     not play in the New Jersey game.
1/17 Steve Nash (sore right hip) and tony Delk (sprained left
     ankle) did not play in the Portland game.
1/16 Steve Nash aggravated his right hip injury during the 1st
     quarter of the Denver game and did not play the rest of the 
     game.
1/16 Tony Delk did not play in the Denver or Philadelphia games due
     to a sprained left ankle.
1/14 Josh Howard did not play in the Philadelphia New York, Detroit,
     Indiana, Golden State, or Utah games due to a strained left 
     hamstring.
1/14 Tony Delk is expected to be out 2 to 3 weeks with a 2nd degree
     left ankle sprain.
1/12 Tony Delk suffered a sprained ankle during the 1st half of the
     New York game and did not play in the 2nd half.
1/3 Josh Howard suffered a strained left hamstring during the 3rd
    quarter of the Minnesota game.
1/2 Danny Fortson did not play in the Milwaukee game due to a tooth
    infection.
12/30 Eduardo Najera (sore left knee) did not play in the Milwaukee
      game.
12/27 Shawn Bradley (back spasms) and Eduardo Najera (sore left
      knee) did not play in the Memphis game.
12/25 Shawn Bradley did not play in the Sacramento or Portland games
      due to back spasms.
12/20 Don Nelson did not coach in the LA Clippers game due to the 
      flu.
12/20 Michael Finley (sprained right big toe) and Shawn Bradley
      (back spasms) did not play in the LA Clippers, Minnesota, 
      Boston, or Toronto games.
12/12 Shawn Bradley did not play in the 2nd half of the Lakers 
      game due to back spasms.
12/12 Michael Finley did not play in the Lakers game due to a
      sprained right big toe.  The injury could keep Finley out a 
      number of games.
12/6 Dirk Nowitzki did not play in the Orlando, LA Lakers, 
     Washington, Minnesota, or Denver games due to his sprained 
     right ankle.
11/29 Dirk Nowitzki did not play in the Minnesota or Denver games 
      due to his sprained right ankle.
11/26 Dirk Nowitzki suffered a sprained right ankle during the 1st
      quarter of the Phoenix game and did not return.
11/20 Antawn Jamison did not play in the 4th quarter of the San
      Antonio game due to a strained right hamstring.
11/20 Tony Delk did not play in the San Antonio game due to a
      strained left hamstring.
11/17 Shawn Bradley (sprained left knee) and Tony Delk (strained left
      hamstring) did not play in the Portland games.
11/15 Dirk Nowitzki bumped heads with James Posey during the
      Memphis game midway through the 3rd quarter.  He left the 
      game to receive 8 stitches, but was able to return late in 
      the 4th quarter.
11/15 Tony Delk did not play in the Memphis or Houston games due 
      to a strained left hamstring.
11/10 Tony Delk did not play in the New Orleans game due to a 
      strained left hamstring.
11/8 Tony Delk left the San Antonio game during the 3rd quarter
     with a strained left hamstring and did not return.
11/6 Steve Nash did not play in the Toronto game due to a strained
     left shoulder.
11/5 Steve Nash suffered a partially dislocated left shoulder
     during the 1st quarter of the Washington game.
11/3 Josh Howard did not play in the Miami or Utah games due to a 
     sprained right ankle.
10/29 Josh Howard suffered a sprained right ankle during the Golden
      State game.
10/22 Tony Delk (strained right calf) and Tariq Abdul-Wahad
      (persoanl reasons) did not play in the Sacramento game.
10/21 Shawn Bradley left the game during the 2nd quarter of the 
      Utah game with a gash above his left eye when his head bumped 
      against Antawn Jamison's knee as Bradley tied up Raja Bell for 
      a jumpball.  He needed 9 stitches for the injury.
10/20 Dirk Nowitzki did not play in the San Antonio or Philadelphia 
      games due to a sprained right ankle.
10/14 Travis Best (sore left knee) and Eduardo Najera (sprained
      right shoulder) did not play in the Clippers game.
10/11 Michael Finley (sore right quad), Shawn Bradley (sprained
      right shoulder), and Shawn Bradley (sore knee) did not play in 
      the New Orleans game.
10/7 Shawn Bradley left the Orlando game after the 3rd quarter
     after tweeking his right knee.  Eduardo Najera did not return in 
     the 2nd half due to a sprained right shoulder.
10/7 Michael Finley did not play in the Orlando game due to a strained
     groin and Antawn Jamison did not play due to back spasms
10/5 Michael Finley did not play in the Utah game due to a strained
     groin.
7/1 Evan Eschmeyer underwent surgery on both knees.  He is expected
    to miss training camp and maybe still out for the start of the 
    season.
6/27 Shawn Bradley underwent surgery on his right knee to remove 
     damaged cartilage.
