Phoenix, Game 4 vs Phoenix, Game 3 vs Phoenix, Game 2 at Phoenix,
Game 1 at Phoenix, Game 7 vs Houston, Game 6 at Houston, Game 5
vs Houston, or Game 4 at Houston due to a sprained left ankle.
5/2 The MRI showed that Keith Van Horn has a 2nd degree lateral
sprained ankle and he is expected to be out 2 weeks.
4/28 Keith Van Horn suffered a serious sprained left ankle during the
2nd quarter of Game 3 vs Houston and did not return.
4/19 Jason Terry did not play in the Seattle game due to a sprained
right ankle.
4/14 Dirk Nowitzki did not play in the Portland game due to a sore
left shoulder.
4/9 Erick Dampier received 3 stitches to close a cut on his chin
during the 1st quarter of the Utah game. He returned to action
later in the game.
3/13 Don Nelson did not coach the Minnesota, Milwaukee, or Lakers
games due to attending to his wife, who is recovering from surgery.
3/11 Josh Howard only played the first few minutes of the Milwaukee
game due to a sprained left ankle.
3/10 Jerry Stackhouse did not play in the Lakers game due to a
strained right groin.
3/7 Dirk Nowitzki (sprained left knee), Michael Finley (bruised left
calf), and Jerry Stackhouse (strained right groin) did not play
in the Toronto game.
3/6 Dirk Nowitzki (sprained left knee) and Michael Finley (bruised
left calf) did not play in the Houston game.
3/4 Michael Finley did not play in the LA Lakers game due to a left
calf contusion.
2/28 Jerry Stackhouse did not play in the New Orleans, Phoenix,
Sacramento, or Utah games due to a strained right groin.
2/22 Erick Dampier has a stress fracture in his right foot and is
expected to be out 2 to 3 weeks.

appendectomy.
2/8 Marquis Daniels (appendectomy) and Jerry Stackhouse (strained

2/6 Marquis Daniels did not play in the Indiana or Toronto games due
to an appendectomy.
2/4 Marquis Daniels underwent an appendectomy on Friday. He was
hospitalized for 6 hours in Indiana with abdominal pain on
Thursday and flew back to Dallas on Friday.
1/29 Josh Howard did not play in the Clippers, Portland, or
Philadelphia games due to back spasms.
1/23 Josh Howard left the Denver game during the 1st quarter due to
back spasms.
1/20 Don Nelson underwent successful surgery on his right shoulder
to repair his torn rotator cuff. He was released from the
hospital and is resting at home.
1/15 Josh Howard did not play in the New Jersey game due to an
upper respiratory infection.
1/14 Josh Howard (upper respiratory infection) and Erick Dampier
(right knee contusion) did not play in the San Antonio game.
1/12 Josh Howard (upper respiratory infection) and Marquis Daniels
(sore left ankle) did not play in the Houston game.
1/8 Josh Howard played limited minutes in the Indiana game due to
the flu.
1/8 Marquis Daniels did not play in the Boston, Milwaukee, LA Lakers,
or Indiana games due to a sore left ankle.
1/3 Dallas development coach Kelvin Upshaw suffered a torn right ACL
during a team scrimmage.

or Denver games due to a sore right hand.

right hand.

in the Sacramento game.
10/26 Derek Hood suffered a pulled groin less than a minute into the
San Antonio game.

7/9 The Mavs revealed that Pavel Podkolzin suffered a slight
cartilage tear in his right knee and will likely undergo minor
surgery to repair the tear.
