- 6/30 Devean George elected not to opt-out of his contract and
remains signed through 09-10.
- 6/26 The NBA held the NBA Draft. Dallas had the #24 pick, but made
a draft day traded in selecting B.J. Mullens at #24 and then trading him
to Oklahoma City for the #25 pick, with which Dallas had Oklahoma select
Rodrigue Beaubois and a future 2nd round draft pick.
Beaugois is a 6-3 point guard from France (he is
expected to play in the summer league). Dallas selected Ahmad Nivins
with the #56 pick. Nivins is a 6-9 forward and played all 4 years in college
(he is also expected to play in the summer league). And Dallas made
another trade where they sent the Portland 2nd round 2010 draft pick (see
the 6/24 trade) to Minnesota for the rights to #45 Nick Calathes.
Calathes is a 6-6 guard and will play next season in Greece.
- 6/24 TRADE: Dallas traded the #22 draft pick to Portland for the
#24 draft pick, the #56 draft pick, and Portland's lowest 2nd round draft
pick in 2010.
- 6/22 Sacramcento named Mario Elie as an assistant coach. Elie had
been a Dallas assistant for the past 2 years.
- 6/18 THE NBADL team Colorado 14ers will relocate to Frisco and play
in the Dr. Pepper Arena starting in 2010-11 (the team will not play in
09-10). Mavs GM Donnie Nelson will be the principal owner and operator of
the team. Not official yet, but the team will likely be affliated with
the Mavs (which means any Mavs players assigned to the NBADL after next
season would be sent to that team).

that the refs had made a mistake in not calling a foul on Antoine Wright

shot). The statement has no effect on the outcome of the game.

- 5/4 The NBA fined Kenyon Martin (Den) $25,000 and assessed him a
flagrant foul for his shove on Dirk Nowitzki during Saturday's Dal-Den game.
