9/16 Luka Doncic was voted on to the 2019-2020 All-NBA First Team. He received 59 1st team votes, 40 2nd team votes, and 1 3rd team votes for a total of 416 points from 100 media ballots. He joints Dirk Nowitzki (12 times, 4 times 1st team) and Steve Nash (2 times) as the only Mavs to ever be selected to an All-NBA team.
9/2 The NBA fined Luka Doncic $15,000 for throwing the ball at the ref during Game 6 vs the LA Clippers.
9/2 The NBA fined Marcus Morris (LAC) $35,000 for his flagrant foul on Luka Doncic during Game 6.

8/27 Game 6 vs the LA Clippers was postponed as the NBA players held a walkout to support the Black Lives Matters movement. The NBA supported the players in suspending the games for 8/26-8/28 while the players decided how to best show their activism.

7/28 Dallas finished the 3-game re-start scrimmage games with a record of 2-1.
7/26 Kristaps Porzingis missed the mandatory COVID-19 testing on the team's off day on 7/25 and as a resulted was placed in 24-hour quarantine. As such, he was unavailable for the 7/26 scrimmage game.
7/23 Dallas had their first re-start scrimmage game. Jalen Brunson (right shoulder surgery), Courtney Lee (left calf injury), Dwight Powell (torn right Achilles), and Willie Cauley-Stein (opted not to bubble-participate, birth of first child) will not play in the games. The Mavs are playing with the word Equality on the back of their jerseys (with the Spanish, Latvian, German, Slovenian word on the jerseys of Barea, Porzingis, Kleber, Doncic).

7/8 Dallas flew to Orlando. Upon arrival the team would spend 2 days in quarantine.

7/1 Dallas signed Trey Burke. Burke replaced Willie Cauley-Stein, who elected not to participate in the season re-start due to the pending birth of his first child.
6/22 Courtney Lee is out indefinitely with a left calf injury (no time table for his return).
6/4 The NBA Board of Governors approved the plans for re-starting the 2019-20 season. 22 teams will return to play (including the Mavs) and play 8 regular season games before starting the playoffs. The games are tendatively scheduled to start July 31 and all will take place in Orlando at the Walt Disney World Resort (where they can limit access and isolate better). The details of the resumption of play is still being finalized, including working with the NBA Players Association. The NBA playoffs would end no latr than October 12, the draft will be held on October 15, and the 2020-21 season will likely start on December 1.
5/28 The Mavs opened the practice facilities to players, with restrictions.
3/14 Jalen Brunson underwent surgery to repair the labrum in his right shoulder.
3/11 Due to the coronavirus panademic and Rudy Gobert (Uta) having tested positive for the virus, the NBA suspended the 19-20 season following the end of the games that were to take place on the 11th. The announcement came early in the 3rd quarter of the Dal-Den game. The late game (NO@SAc) was also cancelled as one of the refs had officiated an Utah game earlier in the week. Thus, the Dallas-Denver game was the last game played before the suspension. There is no time table for when/if the season will resume.
