Cleveland released Harold Jamison and Nick Anderson.

Houston will retired Hakeem Olajuwon's #34 on November 9.  Olajuwon is
expected to officially announce his retirement that night.

Reggie Miller (Ind) is expected to miss the first 2 weeks of the season
due to recovering from a deep bone bruise in his right ankle.
