The NBA named Pau Gasol (Mem) and LeBron James (Cle) as Players of the
Week.  Gasol averaged 26.8 points including 60.6% FG, 10.8 rebounds, and
4.5 assists as Cleveland went 4-0.  James averaged 36.3 pointers, 8
rebounds, and 8.3 assists as Cleveland went 3-0.

The NBA fined Bonzi Wells (Sac) $5,000 for punching the ball into the
tunnel during Sunday's Sac-GS game.

Atlanta signed Anthony Grundy to a 10-day contract.

Golden State signed Will Bynum to a 2nd 10-day contract.

Portland activated Darius Miles and assigned Ha Seung-Jin to the NBADL.

Toronto signed James Lang to a 10-day contract.

Orlando picked up their 07-08 options for Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson.

Chris Taft is scheduled to undergo surgery to fix a herniated disc in his
back.  He is out for the season.

Trey Johnson (junior, Jackson State, guard) declared himself eligible for
the NBA draft.
